Colt Manor

Colt Manor is the restoration and reimagining of a Georgian country residence set within the Irish countryside, surrounded by rolling fields, lakes and woodlands. Part of a wider stud farm, the estate is alive with horses, peacocks and wildlife, lending the setting a distinctive sense of character. The project honours the heritage of the historic manor while introducing a renewed warmth and comfort for contemporary family living.

Original architectural features, including carved marble fireplaces and a cantilevered staircase, were sensitively preserved. A rich palette of natural limestone, timber and stone grounds the interiors, while bespoke wallpaper draws inspiration from the surrounding landscape.The clients’ extensive collections of art and antiques informed the character of each room, complemented by carefully sourced pieces that bring further depth and authenticity.

Bathed in natural light, the orangery offers a beautiful retreat overlooking the grounds. The result is a soulful country residence where historic character and contemporary living coexist effortlessly.
